Not much in photos this month with one major exception, my visit to the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens.

This place was so big, I was too exhausted from walking around to see everything. I missed 2/5 of the outdoor gardens and everything indoors. Thus I have goals for my next visit.

8bitweapon + ComputeHer at Amoeba Records
N8 | Michelle Sternberger and Seth Sternberger of ComputeHer and 8 Bit Weapon
I managed to catch a joint set from 8 Bit Weapon and ComputeHer at Amoeba Records before heading out to Echo Park to see Art vs Science. The played a groovy and geeky 8 bit set from their soundtrack for "The Art of Video Games" at the Smithsonian.

Phantom Planet at The Satellite
N8 | Phantom Planet
I caught word of a can't miss secret show at The Satellite for Monday June 4. I decided to skip my normal gaming night to check this out. The band turned out to be Phantom Planet. I never heard of them :( This was their first show in a few years. They played some good tunes. I also got to meet Brie Larson, who really enjoyed their set.

Art vs Science at the Echo
In the fall of 2011, I went to see Art Brut at The Satellite. The Australian electronic band Art vs Science opened for them and blew me away. I anxiously awaited their return to Los Angeles.
N8 | Art vs Science
One strange thing about The Echo is how many taco joints are nearby. Even the Vietnamese restaurant I had dinner at served tacos.
N8 | Art vs Science played a high energy and fun set that was much too short.
N8 | Parlez-Vous Francais?
Be sure to check to check out my full gallery from the show.

The Cult at Jimmy Kimmel Live
One day after Rammstein, I went over to Jimmy Kimmel Live to see the Cult. After standing all night for Rammstein and another 3 hours for The Cult, my feet were in massive pain.
N8 | The Cult - Love Removal Machine
While the video quality is still great on my Nokia N8, the audio really suffered here. Really looking forward to upgrading to the Nokia 808 Pureview.

Rammstein at the Honda Center of Anaheim
A couple of photos from Rammstein's stop in Southern California at the Honda Center of Anaheim for their Made in Germany tour.
N8 | I love this set design
N8 | Sparks fly for Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen
N8 | Masks with flamethrowers attached for Feuer Frei!
N8 | Performing on the second stage
N8 | Red, white and blue confetti during Amerika
N8 | The fire wings of Engel
N8 | Cleanup after the foam bath of Pussy
This was a great show. Every song had a crazy stunt. I'm glad they brought back some old tunes like Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen, Buck Dich and Mein Herz Brennt. I was especially glad to see Amerika for the first time. Only drawback from this show was the weak crowd.
I did shoot a couple of videos, but the audio quality was just horrible. I think my N8's mics might be blown out. A simple search on youtube for "Rammstein live 2012" will net some great results.
