The following group of 808 Pureview photos were taken in the Conservatory where tropical plants are housed. I missed out on the carnivorous plants. :(
This second group of 808 Pureview photos were taken in the Rose Garden.

Comic-Con 2012 - Day 5 - Sunday
808 Pureview | Me and the Aston Martin Volante from The Living Daylights (1987)
Despite getting really sick, Sunday was pretty eventful for me. I hit the floor and got some Doctor Who merchandise and then posed with a James Bond car. I headed back to the room to pack up all my stuff and have breakfast. After checking the room for anything I may have left behind, I went to the lobby and checked out.
808 Pureview | This Rogues Gallery would run gain a random Joker on the way to the exhibit hall
I found a great seat up front while waiting for the DC Nation panel. I ended up sitting in on some Star Wars video game panel that had a bunch of voice talent. As the panel seemed to run short, the Q&A led to the voice actors doing a bunch of voices from their other projects. The DC Nation panel was a great surprise. Kevin Smith showed up to moderate the panel. I was most happy to see the Justice League of Animals shorts. The previews for Teen Titans Go, Green Lantern and Young Justice looked great. Beware the Batman still looks bad, Alfred still has guns, but it might get good.

After DC Nation, I went to find a gaming room. I found a bunch of kids trying to start a game of Cthulu Munchkin, but they couldn't decide on their house rules so I ditched them and found some guys playing Super Munchkin. I came close to winning but I still had fun.
808 Pureview | Venusaur is also a cooler
One of my Comic-Con traditions is to listen in at the talkback panel to listen to old people complain. I hit the floor one last time and got to high five with Tony Todd on his way out. In what is becoming a Comic-Con tradition, I had a nice dinner at Roy's. One of the Mythbusters was eating at a table next to me. The train ride home was standing room only, but luckily I had a seat. I took some Nyquil and had a very good night's sleep.

Comic-Con 2012 - Day 4 - Saturday
808 Pureview | His and Hers BMO
While Saturday for most attendees is jam packed with excitement, mine was pretty laid back. My day started with getting in line for the Adventure Time panel. I managed to get a great view of the stage despite being in the middle of the line. Before Adventure Time was a panel for After Earth. When it was revealed M. Night Shyamalan was the director, quite a few members of the audience laughed. The movie has a great group of writers and producers, so it might not be too bad. The Adventure Time panel was great. A bigger post on that is upcoming.
808 Pureview | They Live
I walked the floor for a bit, then headed back to the Wired Cafe and spent most of the afternoon drinking with friends old and new. When the Wired Cafe closed, I was wiped. On the way back to the hotel, I saw the History Channel grill and got some free sausage.
808 Pureview | The Engineer from Prometheus
After dropping off my stuff, I went to the hotel's jacuzzi and rested a bit. There were two open bar parties that started at 6 I never made it to. I tried to coordinate with my roommates afterwards to get dinner but they were busy. I wandered the Gaslamp around 9pm and ended up at a hot dog & ice cream shop that had Faygo root beer (the best soda ever).
808 Pureview | At the Youtube party
I did make it to one more party put on by zagat and youtube. They had board and video games to play. There was plenty of google swag all over the venue. They also had a drink called Tony Stark's Downfall. After getting plastered on those, I went back to the room and crashed.

Comic-Con 2012 - DETHKLOK live on the USS Midway
808 Pureview | The USS Midway was the host for the Dethklok show
808 Pureview | The Klokateers
808 Pureview | The stage
808 Pureview | Metalocalypse
This is the complete Dethklok show at Comic-Con on the USS Midway aircraft carrier. I didn't remember until halfway through I could set it to hyperfocal so everything would be in focus. I learned a lot about how to shoot video from this show. The zoom is amazing and the mics had no problem with the loudness. I didn't find out until afterward my deathgrip on my 808 Pureview would muffle the sound.

Comic-Con 2012 - Day 3 - Friday
808 Pureview | Why'd it have to be snakes?
Friday began with another floor rush. This time I had to get my wristband so I could get into the Adult Swim party. After wrapping that up, I went to the Lucasfilm booth and saw some snakes. Some of the snakes were plastic. This one was shy and kept hiding his face.
808 Pureview | This Dr Girlfriend can do the voice
While walking to the Indigo Ballroom for the Adult Swim panels, I encountered the massive line for Hall H. It seemed like the entire boardwalk was filled with people in line for the Walking Dead or Game of Thrones. The Venture Bros panel was all Q&A with the panelist trying to avoid spoilers.
808 Pureview | Everyone is an agent in bad hair
The NTSF:SD:SUV panel was fun. Adam Scott and Rob Huebbel showed up during the Q&A. They showed a neat episode taking place at Comic-Con. The following Childrens Hospital panel had some amazing Q&A and the panelists had a great time.
808 Pureview | The Walking Dead Escape takes over Petco Park
I went over to Petco Park to check out the zombies. After checking out the intimidating course, I headed over to the Wired Cafe. They had some amazing root beer snow cones, really great for a warm day. I stayed until closing, then headed back to the Hyatt.
808 Pureview | Chopper the Biker Dog
808 Pureview | This didn't make sense, but I loved it
After dropping off my stuff and topping up my phone, I headed over to the marina for the Adult Swim party. The walk there was awesome. Seeing how big an aircraft carrier is was a bit overwhelming. It was nice to walk past the people trying to get waitlisted as I got in line.
808 Pureview | The USS Midway
While in line, I spotted a guy with a denim jacket with metal band patches on the front and Justin Bieber on the back. It was a lot of fun to board the USS Midway. Standing on the deck of an aircraft carrier was so cool. There were bunches of old planes on display with lots of retired people to tell their stories.
808 Pureview | Me and Doc Hammer
Instead of walking about, I waited at one end of the deck so I could get in front for the Dethklok show. While waiting a bunch of Adult Swim stars came out. I got my picture with Doc Hammer from the Venture Bros, who was enamored with my Adventure Time medal. As the sun began to set, Dethklok arrived via helicopter. While everyone was watching it land, I was allowed in and got to stand right up front for Dethklok.
808 Pureview | The Dark Night Rises / Design by Humans fashion show
After the concert, I checked my email and saw I got into a Batman party. I decided to ditch the Adult Swim party and make my way there at 10:30. It was held at a rooftop nightclub and was $10 to get in. There wasn't another nerd in sight all night long, just regular club people. I waited around for the fashion show to test out my 808 Pureview. The models were nice to look at and Batman showed up at the end. With no swag of any kind in sight or anybody worth talking to, I went back to the hotel with regrets of wasting the past two hours. I could have gone to see Andrew WK party hard or hang out at the Adult Swim party.

Comic-Con 2012 - The Batmobiles
Warner Bros brought a bunch of Batmobiles to Comic-Con.
808 Pureview | Batman 1966
Adam West drove this car in the original Batman tv series. Creator George Barris owns the car. One of my roommates saw it driving around downtown San Diego.
808 Pureview | Tim Burton's Batman 1989 and Batman Returns 1992
Michael Keaton's Batmobile. I have a matchbox or hot wheels version of this somewhere.
808 Pureview | Batman Forever 1995
Val Kilmer drove this in Joel Shumacher's first Batman flick. Showed up on The Drew Carey Show.
808 Pureview | Batman and Robin 1997
George Clooney's Batmobile. I wonder if it has nipples.
808 Pureview | The prototype Tumbler from Batman Begins 2005 and The Dark Knight Rises 2012
My roommate also saw this one. It was getting towed around. Probably not street legal.
808 Pureview | The Batmobile Tumbler from Batman Begins 2005 and The Dark Knight 2008
Christian Bale's Batmobile. This was the first one I saw at the little park in front of the Hilton Bayfront.
808 Pureview | The Batpod from The Dark Knight 2008 and the Dark Knight Rises 2012
This was inside the convention center at the Warner Bros booth. I regret not taking more time to take a better shot of it, but foot traffic made it impossible to stop for more than 5 seconds.
